Dê um Reset!

 

Gênesis 6: 7. Declarou então o SENHOR: “Farei desaparecer da superfície do solo os seres humanos que criei, todos os homens; os grandes animais até os pequenos seres; e as aves do céu. Arrependo-me de havê-los feito!”

 

Outro dia, meu celular apresentou uma falha no seu sistema operacional, ele travou, de tal forma que foi necessário reseta-lo, e não bastando isso ele exibiu uma mensagem após o reinício, dizendo que teria que formatar o aparelho.


Infelizmente acabei perdendo alguns arquivos, pois não havia feito um backup.

Houve um período na história da humanidade, que a nossa perversidade estava tão grande que Deus teve que "formatar" a terra e "resetar" para recomeçar a história do planeta.


A maldade era tanta, que apenas a família de Noé obteve a oportunidade de entrar na arca e assim recomeçar a sua história e repovar a terra.

 

Não sei você, mas eu já desejei que minha vida tivesse um botão de reset, sabe naqueles momentos que as coisas travam; e o desejo de recomeçar bate no coração. E tudo que você queria era formatar a vida e voltar as configurações originais de fábrica.

 

Há quem diga, que esse período de isolamento é essa oportunidade de recomeçar.

A bíblia nos apresenta  inúmeras histórias de pessoas que deram um "reset" em suas vidas. Mudanças de vida tão grandes que até seus nomes foram alterados, como o caso de Abrão, que se tornou Abraão; Jacó que virou Israel; e para mim a maior história de reinício de vida é a de Saulo, famoso perseguidor da igreja, que após um encontro com Deus, se torna um dos maiores precursores do cristianismo no mundo.

 

No livro de Apocalipse, encontramos que a terra passará por um último e definitivo reset:
E Aquele que está assentado no trono afirmou: “Eis que faço novas todas as coisas!”
(Ap 21:5).

 

Mas até lá, Deus nos oferta uma oportunidade de recomeço todos os dias, já que a bondade do SENHOR é a razão de não sermos consumidos, porque as suas misericórdias não têm fim;  renovam-se plenamente a cada manhã (Lm 3: 22 e 23)!

 

Que nesse novo dia, possamos permitir que Deus formate o nosso coração para as configurações originais do criador.

 

Dê um reset!
